Step7:
Add a layer above spoke 4 and call it text1. Click on your text tool and let's add some text. I chose Brush Scrp D, size 48 or 72. Kern and lead are set to 0, Auto Kern is checked.
Floating and Antialias are both checked. Bold and Center are also selected. Foreground is set to null. Background is set to mqc Flag gradient. Type the first line of your text.
Go to Effects/3DEffects/Drop Shadow and apply the following:
- Vertical and Horizontal offsets set to 2
- Opacity=100
- Blur=5
- Color=Black (#000000)

Position it in the upper left corner and deselect. Continue adding text until you have 4 text layers. (This is up to you but this tutorial is written for 4 text layers and 4 spoke layers.)
Mine looked like this when done with this step:
And my layer palette looked like this:

Step 8:
Add a new layer and move it to the bottom for the background layer. (You can do this by either dragging the layer in your layer palette to the bottom or go to layers/arrange/send to bottom. Name this layer background.
Open my bluestarbg pattern in psp and make it either your foreground or background style. You do this by clicking on the arrow in the style box and choosing pattern (those crazy dots) and navigating to the bluestarbg that you have opened in PSP.
Set the scale to 25% and angle 0. Flood fill your new background layer with the pattern.
If you wish to add your watermark, create a new layer above the background layer, add watermark, then merge that layer with the background and rename to background.
Next we will be merging layers and then on to the animation.
